This Investigation Leveling Guide will show you the cheapest and easiest way to level your Investigation Crew Skill from 1 to 400. Updated for SWTOR Patch 1.3. We highly recommend you follow our guide to spend the least amount of credits.
If you are still leveling your character or you just started a new alt, I recommend you use a leveling guide. You can level your character using the most accurate and up to date Guide available by using the AeonGuide which is a library of professional written guides for SWTOR. the skill of examining evidence and following clues to discover valuable secrets
With the Investigation Crew Skill, you will have the ability to gather Researched Compounds used in the Armstech Crew Skill for making weapons. This Crew Skill can also sometimes produce Schematics (recipes) for other Crew Skills which can be traded to other characters or sold at the Galactic Trade Network (auction house). The other unique ability with the Investigation Crew Skill is that you can uncover completely new Missions whilst on a mission, which can provide materials for other Crew Skills, item enhancements, item modifications and/or rare gear. Again, these can be traded or sold at the Galactic Trade Network. Through the Investigation Crew Skill, you can also gain Rsearched Compounds, Prototype Schematics and Companion Gifts.
Mission Crew Skills can only be completed by your Companions, eventually when you reach higher levels, you will be able to complete 3 missions by 3 companions at once. You can also send your companions out to complete missions while you're logged off as well.
We suggest you take up the Armstech Crew Skill and the Scavenging Crew Skill to level up at the same time.
Missions Crew Skills can only be leveled through your companions, unfortunately no Companions have a plus bonus on the Investigation so you can use any Companion to level up your Mission Skills. For more information on this Crew Skill, please visit the Investigation Crew Skill Overview page.
