Scavenging gives you the ability to gather Scavenged Compounds and Scavenged Metals that can be used to create items for the Crafting Crew Skills; Cybertech Crew Skill, Armstech Crew Skill and Armormech Crew Skill. This Crew Skill allows you to gather scrap metals on planets. These nodes can be found on your mini-map.
