Archaeology is the study of crystal formations and archaeological finds. When you learn the Artifice Crew Skill, you will need Archaeology to find crystal formations which contain crystals to construct lightsaber modifications and armor for Force users. Through missions, you will be able to gather Color Crystals, Power Crystals and Artifact Fragments.
Color Crystals: Are materials used to create Artifice items
Power Crystals and Artifact Fragments: Are materials both used to create Artifice and Synthweaving items.
Archaeologists can send their companions on missions to gather maetrials in the world by scanning various geodes and crystal formations. These nodes can be tracked on your mini-map.
