Guardian, Synthweaving/Archeology/Underworld Trading
These were a good fit, at least in the early levels, for a force user. Especially for a first toon.
Synthweaving makes armor of all types (light, medium and heavy) with stats suited for force users.
Archeology supplies most of the mats needed for Synthweaving except for occasional supplementation by...
Underworld Trading supplies some of the mats needed for better quality blue gear (for heavy armor since I'm a Guardian).

Thanks for this, I plan to also play a guardian and was wondering what crafts I should be doing.
I fiddled with this combo as well. At the lower levels, make sure you Reverse Engineer some of what you are making. There are multiple blue schematics that can drop from RE'ing the same green item. There are also purple schematics that can drop when you RE your blue items.
I do not know the drop rate for a schematic, but I leveled to about 60 in Synthweaving and got 3 blue schematics to drop in that time.
Gear I crafted was on par with, if not better than, gear that was dropping randomly or quest gear.
It's pretty easy to understand
